Three decades of criminal defence in Ontario.

Aaron M. Spektor is a criminal defence lawyer with 30 years of experience providing skilled, professional, and aggressive defence for individuals facing criminal and quasi-criminal charges throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. Since being called to the bar in 1997 he has appeared virtually every day in the Ontario criminal courts — in Toronto (now the Toronto Courthouse at 10 Armoury Street and the Toronto Region Bail Centre), and throughout York, Peel, Durham and Halton — as well as before regulatory tribunals.

Aaron is, in the plainest terms, a criminal defence lawyer for the full range of charges: from impaired driving and DUI, assault and domestic assault to complex matters such as fraud, drug offences, arson and sexual offence prosecutions. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1997, he is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, and has built his reputation on tenacious advocacy, Charter-based defence, and meticulous preparation — with documented results before the Ontario Court of Justice.

Every file is handled by Aaron personally — there is no junior-associate hand-off. He is fluent in English and Russian, answers intake calls himself, including after hours and on weekends, and is known for clear communication and an unwavering commitment to the best possible outcome for every client.
